The Minting Process

Minting, the process of depositing value in the SecureDAO treasury and receiving SCR at a discounted rate in return, this deposition is also known as bonding. The received SCR is vested over a time period. Minting allows SecureDAO to accrue liquidity and the reserve assets, and providing the value backing for the SCR token.

You will initially be able to mint SCR by bonding SCR-MIM SPIRIT-LP liquidity bonds or MIM reserve bonds. The bond prices, returns and parameters as described in the Launch Control System. The protocol intends to set bonding prices at an optimal level to ensure SecureDAO's sustainability and growth.
